Lync

Cookie Policy

Lync uses cookies in three categories, and you choose which optional ones to allow.

Necessary

Always on — required for the site to work. This covers a session cookie when you sign in, an anonymous bag cookie so your basket survives page loads, a cookie that remembers your cookie preferences, and a cookie that records which page, search, or campaign link you arrived from. That last one is used only for our own record of which order came from which source — it is not shared with any advertising platform, and never includes anything used to identify you personally. Where you have separately given Marketing consent, it may also hold a click reference from an ad link (for example, from Meta, TikTok, or Google), kept only so a future order can be connected back to that ad — this reference is not sent anywhere in the current version of the site. These cannot be switched off.

Analytics

Off by default. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site and shop are used, so we can improve them — but only once you’ve given Analytics consent. Nothing in this category is set beforehand, and it stops as soon as you withdraw consent.

Marketing

Off by default. We use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API to measure the performance of our Facebook and Instagram advertising — but only once you’ve given Marketing consent. This may set Meta’s own cookies in your browser and, for a completed order, share a securely hashed version of your email address (never the address itself in plain text) with Meta so a purchase can be matched back to an ad. Nothing in this category is set or shared unless you consent to it, and it stops as soon as you withdraw consent.

To be precise about where things stand today: Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) are the analytics and advertising services in use, each gated by its matching consent category above. TikTok and Google Ads are not connected to Lync — no cookies or tracking from those services are installed on the site.

You can review or change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer.

We use necessary cookies to make Lync work. With your permission, we’d also like to use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used and marketing cookies to measure our advertising. See our Cookie Policy.
